How to Choose a Digital Invitation Template
Start with the occasion rather than the colours. The builder asks what you are celebrating first, then offers only the templates that were designed for that kind of event — a birthday invitation will not be shown a layout built for a corporate dinner, and a formal ceremony will not be offered confetti. From there, ask what the guest has to do: read a time and an address, reply to an RSVP, or note a dietary preference.
Readability matters more than decoration, because most guests open the link on a phone. Every template uses the same fields, so the difference is how much room each one leaves: Minimal, Editorial and Elegant Wedding stay comfortable with a long welcome note or an order-of-the-day list, while a bold cover with heavy type reads best with two or three short lines. A dark or metallic template keeps text legible over a photograph; a pale ground is more forgiving for soft photos.
Then check the practical side. Four templates are free and five are Premium, and the grid marks which is which. Free covers up to 25 RSVP responses; Premium is unlimited and adds custom music, a 90-day archive instead of 30 days, and an invitation without ads. Sharing is the same either way — one link you can paste into WhatsApp, an email or an Instagram story. How InviteVia Digital Invitations Work
Publishing an invitation is a single flow — the digital invitation maker lists each step. Nothing goes live until you press publish, and guests never need an account, an app or a download.
Pick the occasion and a template
Choose the event type first and the builder narrows the grid to the templates that support it — Minimal is offered for every occasion, while the others are more selective. Premium layouts are labelled in the picker, so you can see which ones are paid before you start.
Fill in the details your guests need
Event title, host names, date, start and end time, timezone, a short description, dress code, an optional order-of-the-day schedule, and the venue — type the address or drop a pin on the map. Whatever you leave empty is simply left off the invitation.
Decide how guests should reply
The RSVP step controls what the form asks: plus-ones, dietary preferences, a note to the host, a song request. You also set the response limit — 25 on the free plan, unlimited on Premium — which is useful when the venue seats a fixed number of people.
Publish and share one link
Publishing gives you a short link, and the wording of that link can be regenerated before you send it. Share it through WhatsApp, an email, a group chat or an Instagram story, or copy it into a message of your own.
Follow the replies
Every RSVP arrives on your RSVP tracker with the guest's answer, plus-ones and any dietary note, and the list exports as a CSV for the caterer. Guests can add the date to Google Calendar and open directions to the venue straight from the invitation. RSVPs close once the event has passed, and the invitation itself stays online for 30 days on the free plan or three months on Premium.

Weddings
Formal wording, an order of the day, a dress code and a venue guests have to find. Elegant Wedding was drawn for exactly that, and Luxury does the same job in dark metallics — both hold a long page without losing the hierarchy of names, date and place. Engagements and anniversaries
Shorter guest lists and a warmer register. Floral and Romantic suit a ring ceremony, a garden party or an anniversary dinner, and they use the same RSVP settings a wedding does: plus-ones, dietary preferences and a note to the hosts.
Birthdays
