We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service: your email address when you register and the event details you enter (guest names, dietary preferences, notes, and music requests). Guests who RSVP provide their name and, optionally, an email address. Like most websites, we also collect limited usage data through the analytics tools described below.
Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the service working. We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) and Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc.) to understand how visitors use our website. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage statistics, such as the pages you visit, the time you spend, your device and browser type, the page that referred you, your approximate location, and your IP address. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Our website may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads and to personalize the ads you see based on your interests. How We Use Information
We use your information to create and display invitations, collect and show RSVPs, send service emails, process payments, prevent abuse (rate limiting and spam protection), analyze and improve our website, and support the free service through advertising.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase with row-level security. Rate-limiting data is stored as salted, hashed values of IP addresses that rotate daily. Analytics data is retained by Google and Vercel according to their own retention policies.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the providers necessary to operate the service (hosting and databases: Supabase, Vercel; analytics: Google, Vercel; advertising: Google AdSense; payments: Polar; email: Resend) and when required by law or to protect our rights.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, restrict, or delete your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at admin@inviteviaapp.com; we respond within the period required by law (usually 30 days).
